Ignite Grants

PSD Foundation has a long-standing tradition of providing educators with grant funding aimed at inspiring creativity, innovation, and access. Ignite Grants (formerly known as Impact Grants) offer PSD educators the opportunity to apply for up to $2,000 in funding for projects centered on the areas below.

Featured Ignite Grants

Olander Social Emotional Blacktop

Olander Elementary painted a social emotional learning blacktop which allows students to interact with one another and process their feelings while also connecting with the outdoors.

Lincoln Orienteering and Math

Lincoln Middle students were able to connect with math in a real-world way while also learning valuable orienteering skills.

Irish Equitable Science Fair

Irish Elementary 5th grade students were each given a budget of $20 and worked on their science projects in school with school provided materials allowing for a more accessible and equitable science fair.

Harris Strings

Harris Strings grant purchased string instruments for their strings program allowing students access to music instruction while removing economic barriers that limit access.
