Literacy is the cornerstone to one’s education. The PSD Foundation has a long-standing commitment to funding district and classroom literacy initiatives. Although literacy starts with reading, the Foundation fills funding gaps in all core subject areas such as math, reading, social studies, and science in an effort to strengthen student success.

Literacy Projects

Through intentional partnership with the school district, PSD Foundation aids in funding many literacy-related projects throughout the district. From library books to educator professional development to intervention tools – PSD Foundation, with support from community donors, is able to make an impact on literacy at PSD.
